TFL Journey planner stupidity

I love the Idiot TFL planner that advises that the best route is not to get off the 487 at the bus stop directly opposite the Greenwood (Keeble Close) but to stay on the bus get off 2 stops later and spend 18 minutes walking back
The status alert is for something tomorrow miles away
