Hello Guys,

I have been contacted by Tfl about the next stage of Customer Service Assistance 2 role with TFL, please anyone in the house know if they paid london weighting apart from the £23k advertised with the job. The reason for asking this, i am currently on £23k p/a with overtime work and weekend rate, so if tfl include London weighting and room for overtime.

Hi Tunde, at the moment there is loads of overtime..the 23k include everything but remember you have free travel for you and one other person on TFL services.

Thanks for the reply. At the moment, i worked with a rail company and my take home could be 23k or more with london weighting and i get 75% off on all train company including tfl and free on my company, but i like tfl and if there is a chance to get CSA1 in the future, but from the advert they said you cannot apply for CSA1 within a year. I just don't want to lose out.

Do you have clue about their role play please.

The salary is as advertised, no extra payments on top aside from overtime (and the possibility of a £500 annual bonus dependent on LU's performance; the full amount won't be paid this year).

As per agreement with unions, CSA2s are guaranteed promotion to CSA1 after 12 Months but only when a vacancy comes up, and provided you pass probation and also the training for a safety critical license.

There is overtime, but at CSA2 level expect this to be minimal.

Thanks Mojo, That is good then if CSA2 can be promoted in the future to CSA1.

The CSS bonus is likely to never be paid in full again thanks to how it's scored, compared with the old LCH bonus.
