TFL bus delays

There are numerous websites that will show you where a train is and how late it's running, but are there any websites that will show you how late individual buses in London are running?

The tracking on 'bustimes' in theory shows scheduled / actual times, although (from a small number of samples) the data seems a bit inconsistent.

An example from earlier today. (if this doesn't work by the time you see it, go down to 'vehicles' at the bottom of any timetable, select a vehicle then a journey.)

I can't immediately think of any others that show scheduled / actual for specific journeys, just sites that show where individual buses are or predict when they will arrive at the next stop.

And at the risk of stating the obvious, on any route that's considered 'high frequency' they are regulated by controllers to run on headway basis, even though there is a schedule in the background for each bus. From the perspective of passengers, and of TFL's monitoring, it doesn't matter if every single bus is in the 'wrong' place so long as the service is running at an even headway. (Although obviously there are practical issues when it comes to drivers' hours and breaks and so on)

Google maps will also show the level of delay as well if you click on the bus stop ahead of you.

How do you get this?

I've just tried an example or two (again using route 208, at Bromley Common Crown Lane Spur) and 'departure board' shows

208 Orpington 1.45 pm
208 Orpington 2.04 pm
208 Orpington 2.15 pm

and so on

Some of the times are in green, presumably a real time prediction, as the one predicted for 2.04 is probably running 4 minutes late, but that's a conclusion I have drawn, rather than it telling me.

Or am I looking in the wrong place?

This is what I am seeing for that stop on Google Maps at 1401.
Image shows times from Google Maps for Bromley Common Crown Lane Spur with the route 208 buses scheduled at 1400, 1415, 1430, 1445 delayed by 11 minutes, 1 minute, 2 minutes and 2 minutes respectively.

I'd not tried it from a smart phone before (if I'm out and about in London I just use the TFL 'stations and stops' bit on their website.)
