Is it cheaper getting an annual bus pass of £848, rather then using up the weekly cap of £21.20? Or does the cap extend on a monthly or yearly basis?

Annual travelcards and bus passes are priced at 40 times the weekly cap, so if you're going to use it for more than 40 weeks it's generally cheapest to go for the annual ticket.

The cap when using Oyster is only daily.

The caps when using contactless are daily and weekly (Monday-Sunday).

There's no monthly or yearly capping (at least not yet).
