Testing times at Redditch

Whilst a lot of the country has found itself snowbound, Redditch proved to be the usual glut of snow. The only photographic excitement on offer being the overhead test train with 'Mentor' coming down in the small hours.

My joy ramped up a little to hear 1Q18 would be worked by a pair of Class 97s, a first for the route of course.

So tripod, camera, hat and gloves in tow, I drove out at midnight to record the moment.

Thanks, I've just seen your post and said similar, I just wish I could have 'borrowed' a bit of the snow you Scots have all been hogging for the week

we've got more on the way tonight!!!! I've been busy doing other work for clients recently and my post was a collection of what I could capture in my spare time, got tonnes of photographs to sort out. I may stick a post in the off topic section on the site and let you see some of the other winter photography I've been doing later tonight or tomorrow!!
