The tunnel was rebuilt a different way, and it is now open.

Our Lidl is currently being expanded, wouldn't mind an Aldi though! I'm fairly convinced they bought the land to stop ASDA getting their hands on it, there is already a Tesco in Thurso which I used to work in when I was younger and a bigger one in Wick.

Two local Lidls are currently getting expanded, one has been closed for nearly a year (must be using the same builders who did the Edinburgh Tram) with no end in sight, with the other one closed for 6 weeks and is actually looking like it will reopen on time.

As for Tesco, I would imagine there will be more store closures in the months to come, just the odd-one off closure or mergers.

That's relatively normal though.

March 1st is supposedly when we find out what they are doing in the stores that are still open. It's rumoured that there will be cut backs in Management, and Team Leaders will be gone.
