To parallel the Northern thread, in the hope that a Chiltern Retail Operations Manager, if there be such, will show up.
The machines at Oxford Parkway enraged me last time I tried. Everything took lots more presses than I needed, response was random, and going back one step was erratic. Admittedly I was trying a purchase a bit off-piste: one month off-peak return Radley to London Terminals any permitted. After about 37 presses, I found I was boxed in to options via High Wycombe only. I made a complaint, which was first not understood, and then ignored.

I don't know about getting a response on here, but what I can say is that I am certain that people from Chiltern Railways will see this thread.

If you can follow up your initial email with another one and let me know the reference number (send me a direct message), I will let someone know, so it will hopefully get looked at by someone in a position to do something about it.

Looking at fares from Oxford Parkway, these are all routed via High Wycombe. But from Radley they are all routed Any Permitted.

Does Oxford Parkway station have a 'Purchase tickets from another station' option?

Did you make a purchase? How did the ticket print, if so?

Yes the machines offer tickets from another station. I inputted that, one tricky letter at a time. And yes indeed, I wanted Any Permitted. But I found myself being offered a morass of High Wycombe only tickets, after rejecting a swamp of travelcards. There's no ticket office, but the kind and efficient chap at the enquiry desk has a little hand-held machine using which he produced the right ticket in about 20 seconds. Which didn't open the gate, so he let me through.

That's really odd. Were you able to take a photo of the erroneous tickets displayed? How long ago was this? Is anyone reading this in a position to test these machines?

I know someone tested it at Marylebone and was not able to recreate it.

Sorry, no photo. Was 23 May. I was prompted to post by seeing the thread about Northern's machines.
