I noticed that 1A61 the 0832 Sunderland to Kings Cross is formed of both 180112 and 180114 this morning, does anyone know why these occasional 10 car class 180 workings operate, from previous workings it doesn't appear to be stock movement as both units usually work back north still coupled?

Sunderland away at Ipswich might have something to do with it

It's the Ebor Festival at York, there are usually significant numbers travelling down from the North East for the event, hence the 10 car.

There is a booked 10 car on a Sunday too now for general passenger loadings, should be 1A64/1N94.
