Having just returned from Middlesborough, I seen some of the new "Temsa Avenue LF" buses that are entering service with Arriva NE.
They are quite a good looking bus and stands out in the crowd of the usual buses seen in 'Boro bus station.
Its been a long time coming these new buses having a roof level exhaust system, a trend which has been commonly seen in Europe and North America for the last two decades.
Maybe the UK bus builders may follow suite and adopt the roof exhaust too?
Just curious to know, are Temsa built buses entering service with other nationwide Arriva ops or are they exclusive to Arriva NE?

Roof level exhaust? Sounds good- I cycle a lot, the other day I pulled up behind a bus just as it moved off. Through the thick black cloud I could see the rear of the bus was advising me to cycle as it is good for my health. I'd have laughed if I wasn't choking....

Transbus tried it on the Enviro200 (the first one with 2 doors) but it never made it into production
