After some advice. I am currently 5th in the pool for a position as station staff.
I have today been offered a 6 month tempory while someone is on maternity leave.
Obviously I am very keen to work for the TOC but I am unsure about being potentially unemployed after 6 months with bills to pay .
Here's the response I got....
"After the 6 months, it is highly likely that a position would become available that we would offer you permanently, however we wouldn’t be able to 100% guarantee this .
If you wouldn’t like to go for it don’t worry that’s understandable, and we will keep you on file for future vacancies that come up. If you would like to be considered, let me know and I will progress you to the medical stage.

I currently have a full time job, though not the best it is a regular steady pay.
