If you have ever had a head MRI scan it makes your teeth feel loose, fillings feel as though they are falling out and your jaw ache.
Had one 6 weeks ago a horrible experience for someone that is claustrophobic believe me.
Sounds like a combination of someone drilling with one of those concrete drillers and the dentist drill. In fact the sounds changes ever 15 minutes .

Makes your teeth ache.

I had both an MRI and a CT on my head when I was being assessed for my cochlear implant. Neither had that effect on my teeth. As for the noises, I found them rather musical! I used the time while in the scanner to close my eyes and have a little rest...

Skweaky brakes on any type of vehicle. The buses that go past my house until late into the night have to brake for a speed hump directly outside my living room window, and the racket is intolerable some days.
Oh, and I guess it was going to come up eventually, a Pacer going round a corner.

I had an MRI scan, they play you music through the headphones, but the scanner is so loud you can barely hear it. Didn't put my teeth on edge, though. What music did they play you? Maybe it was a boy band?
