Hi all, there is a NR job being advertised for the above post in Exeter, however the salary is £23,047.00 I assume this is not including shift allowance. Does anyone have an idea of what the real salary would be?

Every region is different, there are so many different contracts even with in the same region. Usually you get your basic pay and nights and weekends are paid at enhance rates. These enhancements again vary. Network rail (BR) took over the responsibility of the track infrastructure from the regional maintenance companies. I think in the ideal world NWR would like to have a homogenous pay and benefits structure.
