Today every up train appears to be going through P4 at Taunton, with nothing using P5 (besides one XC service that seems out of place). Is there a problem leading to this alteration? Funnily enough last year this happened for a while as well due to a track defect (original thread linked):


Taunton Up loop problems

As per the title, today P5 (and by extension bay P6) have been shut off, with all up trains using P4. OTT is showing the loop as "SHUT" as well. Does anyone know what the fault is? https://www.opentraintimes.com/maps/signalling/exeter (Image of OpenTrainTimes map of Taunton, showing P5 and P6...

I used a train that departed platform 6 on Saturday 25th July and they were using platform 5 that day as well.
