I was bored yesterday afternoon, so had a walk along the Tanfield Railway.

Causey Arch station, complete with grass platform


"Beware of trains"


The steep gradient into Tanfield East station - the southern end of the line.


Causey Burn - The stream that runs along the valley adjacent to the railway

I love the stream shot Craig! What settings did you use for this?

2 seconds, F11, ISO100 - full settings here. It probably would have looked better with a slightly longer exposure (I need to pick up some neutral density filters).

This is a better example which I took at the end of last year. I've had this one printed at 12x8" and it looks much better than on screen.
