a TAMPER has derailed between Chippenham & Swindon, ex BTM trains. Some are being diverted via Trowbirdge & B&H. Single line working implemented. WSX's Frome - Swindon (forms 0842 RTN to soton) canned till chippenham to save a path.

Description: Train services are being disrupted between Swindon and Chippenham due to an engineering train derailment. Short notice alterations, cancellations and delays can be expected. There is currently no estimate for a normal train service to resume
Easements: First Great Western have removed ticket restrictions for travel this morning due to severe disruption to their services
Updates: 10:25 From 09:00 to 11:00, road replacement transport will be in operation between Bristol Parkway and Swindon, and between Bath Spa, Chippenham and Swindon to enable recovery of the train involved.

From 11:00 to 15:00, First Great Western will operate services as follows:
Between Swansea and London Paddington - Departs Swansea xx:30, and departs London Paddington xx:45 (calling additionally at Didcot Parkway)

Between Bristol Temple Meads and London Paddington - Departs Bristol Temple Meads at xx:30, and departs London Paddington at xx:15 (calling at Reading, Didcot Parkway, Swindon, Chippenham and Bath Spa)
