An excellent selection of photos. It’s interesting that the canopy at Bere Ferrers was still extent in 1978. Also why should Calstock still have van bodies lying around in 1978? In the late 60s a van body was placed here after de-staffing for the local fruit and veg growers to deposit their wares for collection by railway lorry. Interesting to see the upside footbridge steps at Bere Alston still existed in 1982. Otherwise apart from the new station at Gunnislake little else has changed on this wonderful branch.

Great set of photos from the 70's and 80's.

Maybe you should try and take a photo from the same spot you took the original, and call it Then and Now.
