Hello everyone,
I am curious, what would the arrangements be if I were to travel from Glasgow Central to London on a Class 390 but I want to bring a bicycle, where would the bike be stored on the train?

There is bike storage at the end of Coach A just before the seating area.

Their website has all the information.

We love cycling in all its forms. Whether you’re a budding Chris Hoy, a clever commuter, or just heading off for a spin in the country, we’ve space for your two-wheeler. Our West Coast Mainline trains can take up to four bikes, and on our Pendolino trains there’s even space for two tandems. It’s free, but remember to reserve your space in advance.

You’ll need to board your bike at least 10 minutes before departure allowing enough time to walk to coach A to load your bike in the dedicated space. If you need a hand with this, just ask a member of staff and they’ll be happy to help.

Remember to pick up a bike tag from the station ticket office, it lets our onboard team know how far your bike is riding with us.

If you’d like a hand unloading your wheels, ask the Train Manager and they’ll organise someone to be there to help you at your stop.

Note reservations are compulsory, and as you need a T key to get in and out this is enforced.

and also note that you need to be very alert (and sometimes very assertive and loudly vocal) to make sure you are not either locked in and overcarried, or left on the platform like a lemon while your bike is taken off down the line after you couldn't get it out of the van. Don't just go to the door and wait politely, the train and station staff may well just assume you are examining the coach coupling or something!

(The result of experience at Nuneaton, besides other places!)

I've used it before, I think there is space for 4 bikes, you hang the bike by it's front wheel from the ceiling

No hooks in class 390 - the bikes stand on the floor. Four is something of a squeeze, but most of the time you'll be the only cyclist.

And I echo AndrewE's advice if joining or leaving en route.

When I've done it the best thing to do when getting off is to go and find the guard 10 mins or so before the station and let them know you need to get your bike out
