I’m not from a railway background or family but was lucky enough to get a drivers job and i Start my drivers course later this month.
So last weekend as I was walking around the car boot, A network rail logo on a book caught my attention ( I wouldn‘t normally of looked twice ). After approaching the guys stall there was a small portion of mix match railway dvds and 2 books. I looked and he said can have the lot for £1, I wasn’t that bothered but as I turned to talk to my wife and he said 50p if i take them now. I thought for the sake of 10 bob why not. had a look through when got home and got some decent forward face driving routes on dvd and route maps. The full list is at the bottom of this post.
my question is (after I’ve watched them obviously) are they valuable? Worth selling? Or just Donating? Want to know if I’ve fell onto a bargain or if they are common.
