Yes!!! Pretty much 99% of jobs in the Railway involve a painfully slow recruitment process. I know how you feel as I am awaiting the next step for a job I've applied for too!

That sounds like 7 days to me. ;)

I think it was about a month to hear back from my second interview. I then got told I had been successful but they didn't have any jobs anymore, then they offered me a job two weeks later. I finally started nearly 10 months after i'd applied and waiting longer than that isn't unusual.

I'd agree with the earlier post - it's a painfully slow recruitment process and generally no news is good news!

I am a qualified driver and when I applied to another TOC it took 5 months from the interview to being informed I had passed and was offered a job there and then, still waiting for a medical date 2 months later though.

Glaciers (not the mints) move faster than rail recruitment but if they havent told you "no" then it will be a yes eventually.

Hi guys

Did any of you attend the assessments for Trainnee Driver back in May??

I passed and was waiting to do the Structured Interview but they froze recruitment. I applied for Wimbledon.

Dave.
