Just found this (@swtrains) still occasionally updated twitter feed.

The guys profile blurb is:
South West Trains season ticket holder until they took me to court & lost. Where are the ****s behind this debacle? Let's spend some time searching for them.

Did this case ever make it to being published in a newspaper somewhere? Scanning trough the feed he doesn't seem to allude to what his alleged offence was, even though he purports to being found "not guilty". Accordingly he has a bit of a bee in his bonnet about SWT and being nosey I want to know if it is justified. ;)

He probably has a bee in his bonnet because SWT actually won the case...

It looks like SWT lost their case going from his tweets though how it cost 10k in costs I'll never know. He seems like a most well rounded individual! :|

Looks like all he does all day is follow SWT staff around and act like he's sizing Southampton Central station up for some sort of "heist" he's arranging....

I though that was rather peculiar too. :| I do have a theory, rather than being taken to court for fare evasion or ticketless travel. I wonder if SWT tried to bring a private prosecution against him for being merely a nuisance under the Railway Byelaws?

Byelaws 2(1), 6(1)(2) & 13(1) come to mind:

2. Potentially dangerous items
(1) Except with written permission from an Operator or an authorised person, no person shall bring with him or allow to remain on the railway any item which, in the opinion of an authorised person, may threaten, annoy, soil or damage any person or any property.

6. Unacceptable behaviour
(1) No person shall use any threatening, abusive, obscene or offensive language on the railway.
(2) No person shall behave in a disorderly, indecent or offensive manner on the railway.

13. Unauthorised access and loitering
(2) No person shall loiter on the railway if asked to leave by an authorised person.

If this is the case he shouldn't be in the least bit surpised if he is visiting SOU on a regular basis to film staff or measure the booking office and SWT take issue with it, especially in these security conscious times we live in. :P

For the first time in 26 years a fellow commuter (named James) asks me to remove my arm from the centre armrest. I was here first you ****.

Judging from this he doesn't appear to be the nicest or diplomatic of people, I think you are right about having an axe to grind with SWT I wonder if he is affiliated at all with this website?
