I got a 2nd interview with swtrains next Friday and was wondering if you get free travel right away with swtrains to go to and from work or do u have to pay ?

Once you have a job with them you should get a staff travel pass straight away.

You'll get a temporary pass almost immediatly as above, and it will be valid for about 3 months. Well before this expires you'll get your permanent pass.

Do u know anything on the face to face with a manager and what kind of interview it is, and im going for line cleaner ? on the kingston line

I went for Line Cleaner a little while a go. I had the Basingstoke Station Manager and I think it was Head Of Stations doing the interviews (this was to be based at Basingstoke).

It was the standard criteria based interview, so the sort of questions like; 'Tell me a time when you went out your way to satisfy a customer?'. 'Tell me how you would do this?', 'What do you know about the company?' and others.

My only tip is to read up about the company on their website, learn who the MD is, the owning company, how passengers they carry, where they operate too etc etc.

And one more tip is to relax and be yourself!

No I never but I did completely fluff it up on the day so not surprised.
