Out of interest where does classroom training for new guards and drivers now take place?

Correct, most of the training school is now at the Basingstoke ROC. It should be a 10 minute walk but due to a lot of regeneration works in the area you have to take a slight detour to get there and it currently takes roughly 20 minutes.

20 minutes????? U can walk around the whole of basingstoke in 15 ??????????????????.it's not far from the station.is everybody happy with that reply or shall we argue some more lol

It's about a mile from the station to the roc. Obviously if you're staff then you should be following the official walking route which has been amended due to the John Lewis and Waitrose development...
