SWT Summer Special Ticket Query

Just seen on the SWT website a special summer offer for weekends which gives a return ticket across the network,with certain exclusions for only £15 return.Think that this is a good offer and I would like to use it as it is only valid till start of September.

The T's & C's indicate that certain routes are not allowed,e.g. The far west part of the Exeter line etc...On the article on the website it also mentions that tickets to Portsmouth Harbour are valid on the Island Line.My question is would this special deal do you then think be valid to include a ferry crossing to the ioW?

I am unsure on this and cannot find an answer,any suggestions as to the validity to the IOW? I fancy a cheap day trip!

The ticket price excludes cross‐Solent travel to/from the Isle of Wight although Red Funnel and Hovertravel are offering discounted fares in conjunction with the Summer Fever offer

Customers must present their Summer Fever ticket when purchasing the discounted rates.

Hovertravel Summer Fever rates:

£10 per adult (16+) and £6 per child (5 – 15 years old) day return

Red Funnel Summer Fever rates:

£8.60 per adult (16+) and £4.30 (4 – 15 years old) day return to both East and West Cowes
