Last night I boarded the 2003 Yorkshire Tiger 81 service from Lord Street, Huddersfield. The Solo forming the service was a K-line liveried example in quite a shabby state, but more surprising was this backrest for the tip-up seats in the wheelchair space (see attached image).
K-line do have form in this area, a few years ago there were a pair of ex Wilts & Dorset solos which had seats emblazoned with "Weymouth", "Portland", "Poole" etc- quite incongruous on the 303 to Scapegoat Hill! Never previously seen a seat on a bus that I more associate with trains though.
Any other weird train/bus crossovers (Pacers notwithstanding!)?
