Hello people hope the job hunting is going well.

I i have an interview coming up and was just wondering if anyone knows what questions will be asked in a Meet and Greet Assistant interview, and what else to expect.

All help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

The term frequently turns up in lectures I go to that are focused on airports, odd term for the railway industry to use!

I've worked for four Train Operating Companies in some capacity or other in front line customer service roles. I am presently working for a TOC so I'm happy to offer advice if there is anything general you wanted to know.

One thing I will advise is not to let the application process defeat you! You will require an upbeat attitude and patience - quite a lot of it!

I do work for a railway company at present and used to work for a Toc in the position of a station Customer Service Assistant which sounds like something similar to what a ''Meet and Greet Assistant'' would do. I assisted those with mobility needs onto their trains and around the station, as well as provided information about train services.

meet and greet is a role in waterloo, where u help passengers who have booked for their luggage to be carried off the train and stuffs like that...its a customer facing role...just passenger assistance...could be wheel chair, VIP(visually impaired) etc....and also general customer service...Pretty exciting cos u get to meet loads of pple...
