The danger of copy and paste unless they have just opened the Solent Tunnel

Cancellations to services on all routes

Due to the police dealing with an incident near the railway between Ryde Pier
Head and Shanklin all lines are blocked.

What's Going On:

Train services running across the whole South West Trains network may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes. Disruption is expected until 20:00 12/08.

What We're Doing About It:

Local Control colleagues on Island Line have reported the police are dealing with an incident of trespass near to the railway at Ryde Esplanade.

This means all lines are blocked until the person has been safely removed.
To reduce the delays to trains, some services may have to be altered or revised at short notice

Sadly the modern Solent Tunnel project is for a road. if only they had built the 1901 scheme, from Lymington to Freshwater.....!
