SWT Guards Positions

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone who has recently applied for one of the SWT Guards positions had heard anything back from the company.

I applied back in Jan but haven't heard anything except the automated receipt email.

i have spoken to swt recently and they have said that they are waiting to see how the drivers positions are filled.

Depending on the amount of guards who go on to be drivers, will depend on how many vacancies they actually have!

however, a friend of mine has also applied and spoken to them and they said that he should ring back in 2 weeks to get an update.

PLEASE NOTE that this is in regards to the guards positions at FRATTON!

Bear in mind that SWT HR work at a slow pace, I started guard training school last week and some of the external candidates applied over two years ago-but that is largely due to the recruitment freeze following the redundancies a couple of years ago. Things are moving quicker now but it still took over eight months for me from application to commencement of training.
