Anyone know do you get travel allowance when you are not at your home station or is that already incorporated with your pay?

Most firms - I think - now give you a set allowance per week instead of allocating it per shift

In which area is this vacancy based? The only one on SWT now is an RO2 Station Asst in the Portsmouth & Southsea area.
In some of the previous vacancies I have seen that they mention that you may need to cover at nearby stations, however you won't get extra pay for that as those stations are nearby (ie only 10min to get to from your home station)
I've got the feeling that any premiums are included in the advertised salary or mentioned in the ad vacancies on their site

You will not get an allowance for working at any of your 'core' stations but allowances may be applicable for other stations. As a GPR you will also get a shift allowance (monthly) because you don't work to a roster.
