Reading SWT Gold Service website today, it says under the Terms and Conditions regarding the free tickets, Free travel is permitted on Selected Swt services, but doesn't clarify any further apart from time restrictions, if I intended to use them to travel from Clapham Junction to Exeter St. Davids, (within the permitted days / times) would I be laughed off the train? The last time I emailed the Swt Gold card support team (regarding another matter), they were less than helpful with their reply. Can anyone also confirm that Ryde St. Johns Road to Ryde Esplanade does still 'generate' the 6 free tickets?
A Happy New Year to all.

All fine. Used one on Friday to the south coast. No problem at all and when checked the tickets were accepted without question. My gold card is the one you suggested and the free tickets arrived within four weeks.

So if you get a season ticket from Ryde St. Johns Road to Ryde Esplanade you get 6 free journeys. How much does that season ticket cost? Tried online but comes up not smart card enabled route.

Anybody know why this is the case? The map appears to show both stations smartcard enabled.

I'm pretty certain that I tried this just after Christmas and it was working for seasons on this route starting then, but not in January. I assumed this was because of the fares being revised.
