SWT 455 Livery

Hi All,

If I remember correctly, when SWT first introduced its mainly red inner-surburban livery the first two units released had a slightly different front end paint style. The way in which the blue and yellow met around the cab sides / front was altered for later repaints.

Can anybody remember which units these were and do they still have this different paint syle?

Hello Roy

Welcome to the Forum! the first two SWT Refurbished Class 455's were
455711 & 4555904. They do have a slightly different paint scheme to the rest as in they were painted with the original pattern SWT swooshes in blue and orange and cab front windows have black frames.

Thanks for the info and the welcome.

Been registered for a while and lurking as a reader but never really had the need to post until now.

Now to go find them with a camera. A couple of hours at Clapham Jn should probably suffice.

They have since been modified to have the same livery as the rest of the fleet I'm afraid.
