Quick question - Is the SWT 1st Class Upgrade at weekends valid with a 3in7 Severn and Solent Ranger?

Quick answer: Yes
Explination: I belive only advance tickets are excluded and a new upgrade needs to be bought each time you board a train.
Surely not always each time you board a train?
Can't see any restriction on the SWT website for BoJ, or if I wanted to travel from say Waterloo to Basingstoke on an Exeter service and then on to Fareham on a Pmth Harbour Svce. You do have your destination on the upgrade, but I would have thought with clever planning you could get several journeys in 1st on a Rover.
Unless there is something buried deep in some not easily findable T+Cs??
Oh ok I thought on SWT it was only available until you got off the train but NRE disagrees with me.

So in theory it seems you get on at Weymouth and ask for an upgrade to Axeminster if you wanted making it valid up Eastleigh and from Salisbury I expect.

Would it be permitted to ask for a Bristol Temple Meads - Lymington Pier 1st Class upgrade?
As, I could use SWT from the outset.
Bristol - Salisbury
Salisbury - Southampton
Southampton - Brockenhurst
Brockenhurst - Lymington Pier

It looks like it looking at NRE (quoted above) though as I say I was unaware that you could buy an upgrade in such a way.
