Hi,

Does any one have any information on the work reference process that SWR require once they have made you a conditional offer? Like how many they need and how far back they ask for?.

I have just received one for a trainee train driver(Waterloo), so I want to be prepared.

References and DBS check are the two boxes left to tick. I will pass both, nothing to hide btw :).

Thank you in advance.

As I remember it was 3 Years and 1 personal reference. Not sure on the amount of people but during the 3 years mine equated to 3 different references plus 1 personal reference.

No problem and congratulations. Have you been given a start date?

Thank you, as you can imagine, I’m elated.

2/3/20, subject to successfully passing DBS and reference checks.

I live in Hertfordshire so i will be relocating to within 45 minutes of Waterloo. They require proof of moving after 2 months of my start date.

Have you got areas in mind where you would relocate too? I also start on the 2nd March so I'll see you there. Once again well done for passing.

Great, I will see you there!

I’m currently considering the Brixton/Clapham/Herne Hill/Battersea/East Dulwich areas at the moment. Where I could run/walk/bike to Waterloo should public transport fail due to weather etc.

Hi, was it an enhanced DBS or a standard DBS? Also, did you have to show bank statements etc?
