There seems to be a fault on the SWR and GWR websites which means that railcard discounts are not being properly applied.

They show on the first screen but if you try to buy the ticket it wants full price.

Works fine for me, I just checked Paddington to Reading at midday tomorrow on GWR and it gives the expected discount for a Gold Card.

What journey are you trying to book? Possibly your journey is one where the Railcard is not valid for the TOC/time/route you are wanting to use.

London to Tonbridge super off peak day return with a Network Railcard.

Allows me to pick the discounted fare but when I go to pay for it, it reverts to full fare.

I can’t replicate the problem I’m afraid. Does it do the same with an off-peak day return, which is the same price owing to the Network Railcard minimum fare?

Same issue on the GWR ticket machines as of late.

Adding a Railcard resets the machine. :/

Hopefully there will a log of these errors so anyone who boards a train without a ticket as the machine does not sell the ticket they require will not be penalised.
My suspicions are that this won’t be the case and lots of people will not be able to use their railcard for journeys.
