Hello,
I managed to bag one of these in 1976 (I seem to remember it cost £1.90) and its been sitting in my cupboard ever since. It was for a Western. I know it must have some value, I was considering flogging it, anyone know how much it would be worth? It is in Ex BR condition.

The stock answer is it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. To which Western did the log book belong? If it was someone's pet loco they may be willing to pay a bit for it.

How far back do the details in the log book go and what details does the log book contain? May well be some historic info. of interest to some.

Me included if it proved a 1 in 74 chance that I had the particular Western for haulage back in March 1967.
