plus 20188 if it arrives in time. . .

Will it go back to the SVR after, or staying back?

Also to note on Saturday the 10th of May, Vintage trains will have their Purbeck and Weymouth Explorer tour 47773 & 47541 top n tailing. Times to be arranged...

47773 & 47541 are the same loco ;) I expect it will be 47773 plus another wcrc loco if none of the other Tyseley 47s are ready

I wonder if they'll put a steam in service. Hopefully not (unusual thing for me to say), there is plenty of diesels to run that timetable, the 40th anniversary timetable worked well providing the changes at corfe work alright, but that does mean 3 locos are required to start at Norden which makes for a good show :)

ive heard that the bay platform will be in use for the gala so that some locos can go on show. . . .

I heard simular, perhaps using the shunters for brake van rides like they would normally during Thomas.

But if they do use the same 3 train timetable as the 40th anniversary then there will be two locos standing at Norden. It may be a different case this time particularly if they top n tail no need for turn arounds...

Heard a roumer it may feature D1015 on the Whitby-Battersby sections, plus D7076. Not sure what else there may be though. Back on topic, Swanage looks tempting though! Considering it's the new MHR diesel galas then!

Is there any gen on the Moors lineup yet? Its such a pig to get to but 25278 on the 'mainline' all day might tempt me...

The rats got to appear at some point on the mainline workings, theres alot of people who havn't had that yet..........8)

Heard the Moors will be fielding some real 37 action, probably 119 again, although other things have been rumoured.

I also here now that if that 16 wheeled wagon down at BH don't make it into traffic in time it could be replaced with a certain 12 Cylinder EE machine, fitted with a main gen and not an alternator ;)

The 56 that was meant to have been attending last year had air brakes and if it was to operate with the Mk1s then the 20 would have been piloted by the 56 because the Mk1s are vacuum only.

I dont know what brakes this 56 has or if its even the same 56 but if its air it'll only operate with the VEP.

If its like last year its anything with anything lol

Western on the VEP 20 on the VEP etc

Except no Western ;)

that was meant to be 56098 last year and a pair of EPS 37s, if memory serves correctly!

All Grids are air only mate 8-)

Ahh in that case, on its own it can only work with 3417 and if it wants to use the MK1s it'll need to have a 20 for vacuum brakes

...but news in (yet to get official confirmation)

Spoke to Marcus today, He has told me that if 45060 is unavailable, 37275 will be the replacement. He was also hoping to get 20132 to pair up with 20096 but 132 has a blown engine. Swanage's own 20 (D8188) is at Tysley for engine repairs.

Can you not read????

I was on about last year! i have photographic evidence of the western on the VEP!

Easy easy... i was just saying it as a little add on for clarification regarding this year.

I know there was D1015 with the VEP we've all got shots too and i was one it for a trip. Its crystal clear
