Got a reply back pretty quick via email. Sadly no information on Salisbury guards as yet
At least you know now. Unfortunately it seems the same for all toc's that seem to have a massive backlog of training/interviews/job offers etc.

I was told over the phone on Friday last week by HR that it was unlikely that I would get a start date this year. They also said that Fratton has a particularly slow turnover so hopefully the outlook won't be as gloomy for the rest of you

There will be for Yeovil very soon. I personally would switch my application from there especially seeing as your in Gillingham - phone up HR and ask if you can swap for Yeovil, there will be plenty of jobs in the coming year.

Hi
I e-mailed HR on monday, looking at maybe swapping my application to Yeovil, or anywhere else, from Fratton, and maybe getting an earlier start date. This was the response pretty much to the letter.
"The recruitment for guards/commercial guards is very slow at the moment. Unfortunately I cannot put a timescale on it. Our guards courses are on hold at the minute and I cannot tell you how long for or when they will start again as I do not know and because things are contstantly changing"
I was also told that at the moment it would be pretty pointless swapping depots as each one has a lot a applicants waiting for start dates as they come available.
I've now been waiting 15 months since being told I was successful after the interview. I think we've all just got to accept things are delayed and get on with life until we get "the call"
