Six visiting GBRf mainline locomotives, including Class 57/3, 66, 69 and 2x73/1.

Heritage locomotives, including GWR 4930 Hagley Hall, Class 50(SuO), Class 52, Class 40 and the DMU.

It appears that the 57, 69 and two 66s involved can also be enjoyed on the main line, the 69 from Peterborough to Kidderminster on the Friday, the two 66s from Kidderminster to Peterborough on the Monday, and the 57 on both trips.

66719 has been announced by the BLS as one of the 66s for the Monday tour. The Rail 200 Innovation train is seemingly having a week off that weekend between appointments at the National Railway Museum in the last week of August, and Darlington station from the second week of September.

Looks as though some people will need an early start on the Saturday if they want the 69 [08.45 from Kidderminster] - or stop overnight in the area.

The SVR have announced on Facebook that 73107, 73136, 57305, 66710, 66719 and 69015! will be the locos visiting the railway.
The use of 73107 + 73136 seems strange as both these locos have worked on SVR Diesel Galas before

The 73s need to be fitted with vacuum brakes to work with the resident coaches, which limits the choice to these two and 73119, although an air braked / dual braked combination could have been selected.

The visiting air braked coaching stock has 57305 on the Kidderminster end for ETS, and then one trip each day for each of the other three GBRf locomotives.

It will be interesting to see how much custom is drawn in by the selected locomotives, given 66710 has recently worked on the Bluebell Railway, and 66719 worked tours in 2014 and 2019 plus Sleeper workings in 2016.

Yes, that is what I said. 73109, 73128 and 73141 don't have dual brakes operational as I understand it.

Not everyone will have had a chance to visit the Bluebell Railway or afford to do the various tours

Having missed 57305 when it did Virgin Drags it will be 4 new for me at a lesser price than one on a Railtour.

Grab the opportunity to travel behind 40106 at the event as l understand it's contract on the line expires soon, and possibly will be moving on?
