Hello. I'm new to the 'General Discussions' bit of this forum.

It's very alarming that several places / buildings altogether in Glasgow, Edinburgh, London AND Essex have been evacuated !

I'm not a police officer etc but I can't help but now wonder if the outbreak of passengers being sick on the aeroplane at Gatwick (I believe yesterday) may have been caused by a very quiet device set off that's designed to silently make people sick / feel ill. I thought not long after it was on Twitter that maybe something went wrong with the plane.

It's a coincidence that London has had suspicious packages found and that a lot of passengers were sick on a plane very recently.

You've got it spot on. It was a coincidence. Given that the people on the plane had all originated from the same cruise liner it's most probable that they caught something on the ship and it developed as they flew home. Outbreaks of norovirus and respiratory diseases aren't that unusual in cruise ship type environments

Have you spoken to your GP about how you feel about this?

It's no doubt the fault of Russia. They are always to blame according to some folks...

Reminds me of this satirical video by Russia Today's Polly Boiko

Oh crikey no, I don't need to do that. Just saying that it seems a coincidence. However someone tweeted to me after I did so, that the people who were sick on the plane were on a cruise ship And were being flown home.

Not nice obviously but at least that's not linked to the suspicious packages!

The suspicious packages are very likely linked, in some way, to Brexit, with 1,001 possible scenarios leading one to that conclusion.
