Support Coaches

Following my quieries regarding preserved steam operations on the mainline I was wondering if anyone could provide further assistance with regards to support coaches. I am foccusing on 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' and was wondering if anyone could provide information for the following points

The uses of support coaches in charter rakes / LE moves
External photographs of the above locomotives SC
Internal detailing shots from any support coach
Any other information regarding support coaches

I would be extremely grateful for information regarding the above points
I am sure other modellers appreciate how valuable photos are

Hi Jon,

Support coaches for steam locos are all MK1 Brake or Mark 2 brake coaches.

Usually, the support coach is marshalled into the train right behind the locomotive, it's used by the crew, and has spare parts that can be interchanged on the loco if a problem arises.
