Hey guys (again),

A follow up to my earlier thread but I just noticed my train Sunday (I hold super off peak) diverts to London Paddington instead of Marylebone where it should terminate due to engineering works (I’m in Birmingham right now). If I choose to go Monday during the usual super off peak time instead as I’m allowed a month return, will I still have a valid ticket as the train will be going back to Marylebone on Monday? (Which I prefer) instead of Paddington which it says on my ticket?

EDIT: sorry I forgot to say, it does say valid only for travel via (changing trains or passing through) Banbury which it would be.

Yes, that will be fine.

Birmingham to London via Banbury is by default valid on both Marylebone and Paddington (via Reading) stations, so no need to worry about the validity

What are the ticket's origin/destination? Thought Super Off Peak returns from London to Birmingham were normally only ever issued as London Terminals to/from Birmingham Stns (route "via High Wycombe")?

So would such a ticket itself ever mention "via Banbury" or London Paddington? (Suppose the original accompanying return journey itinerary might well do).
