Summer only stations

Berney Arms has no station lighting and a round the year service.

Berney Arms does have a year round service but trains cannot call during the hours of darkness, hence it has a much better service during summer than winter.

Dosent it have a portable oil (probably now battery electric) light that the guard installs on the last train before it gets dark?

What is the current situation at New Clee, as in past days, the lack of lighting seemed to have operational consequences there?

New Clee still an open station but trains timetabled to stop only in daylight hours, as no platform lights at this location.
