They don't have enough 387s to be able to send all the future HEx ones away before TfL take over more services in December...How will 365s to GWR solve the 769 issue?
The 769s are for diesel routes
So need to plug the shortfall some how.

I wonder if there'd be any mileage in Northern leasing them for stopping services down the East Coast from Morpeth down as far as, say, Darlington. Obviously finding paths would be the key issue but it would give Chester-le-Street a boost to its sparse service, and provide more stopping trains at the other ECML stations to Morpeth. Even a twice hourly service would be a boost, if Morpeth could handle the turnarounds.
Credit where credit's due - it's a service with many merrits and much potential, but one which is definitley not going to maximise the benefits if it were to use 365s.How about a semi-fast Scotrail service
Carlisle - Lockerbie - Motherwell - Coatbridge Central - Cumbernauld - Larbert - Stirling
According to the last paragraph on this site 365502 once briefly went to then-WAGN in 2002 with AC fitting to make up for the unit lost to Potters Bar, before returning January 2003 (before going back with the others in 2004). Assuming this is correct, does this mean the "reverse" power supply fitting can be done, if someone is actually prepared to do it and find somewhere to store them?
