Stratford to Tottenham Hale line speed

Any reason why trains crawl up the Northbound track at about 15mph?
The timetables state the journey to be about 13 minutes to Tottenham Hale.
Going south, it's 14 minutes, but it appears to be much faster than 15mph, possibly as high as 40?

Had much the same thought. Perhaps there's a couple of minutes included for an eventual stop at Lea Bridge.

Trivia question - is this the slowest UK point to point schedule under the wires?

The train certainly does arrive early at SRA a lot of the time, which means I've regularly arrived, exited the station, gone to a company to pick up paperwork and got the same train back!

I can see there are some very low speed limits along there. However, it allows me time to see the 374s slowly rust...!

This crops up occasionally, and while they may have added in the Lea Bridge stop allowance, northbound, it has to wait at Coppermill, I forget if it's for a Cambridge or a StanEx (I want to say it's a Cambridge one), to let the fast clear the junction first. So rather than stay stationary, a lot of drivers crawl to

why not leave Stratford later though?

if driven at line speed, you would wait minutes, at the signal under the Chingford line. It's all to do with pathing, and allowing the Stansted to get ahead. Yes you could sit at Stratford for longer, however i think you will find, the reason you don't, is down to dwell time costings...
