Strangest Thing Seen on a Train

I once had a 150 instead of a pacer. AND the guard was about 20. Female. And pretty hot. Quite strange. Not the usual pacer. And a hot guard

That wasn't in the Exeter/South West area was it? Once stabled a train at Riverside and hitched a ride down to Central on a Pacer with a guard that should've been the poster girl for FGW.

On a Northern Pacer from Rotherham to Meadowhall i saw a man in a full suit of armour - complete with sword and shield.

On a Pacer between Sunderland and Newcastle there was a bloke (unconvincingly) dressed as David Tennant, wielding a massive cardboard cutout of the Tardis..

seen a christmas tree wrapped in the netting from the garden centre and in a 'granny trolley' in the van of a GC HST leaving York before!!
Also seen a group of lads walk past at Kings Cross with a TV in its box along with an xbox also in its box... when I got to them later checking tickets the tv was on the table by the window and they were playing some game on the xbox!!!

Surely that would have tripped out? I heard a similar story about someone who took a microwave of all things onto a Pendolino.

I doubt it to be honest. A TV (22" LCD, for the sake of argument) draws between 40 and and 80W, XBOX much the same.

A Dell laptop PSU takes 90W, and you can have one of those plugged in each side of a table with no bother...

This is true i seen it first hand earlier this year. The begger got told to bolt it the thickest Scottish accent i could produce

The strangest thing I've seen is the guard taking food orders from coach B on the 15:20 BHM - GLC on wednsday 26(?) July this year.

My Dad has seen Prince Philip on a GLC - KGX service before.

I too have had a lad playing on his XBOX with TV on my train, he actually had a ticket from Ramsgate to somewhere up north so probably the same guy on the same journey as Sir Clagalot, might've met some mates in London!

I was once offered, erm, how to put it, a "sexual favour" in return for not paying for a ticket.

An xbox seriously? Well I suppose if you're on a long journey. Wonder if he was using the WiFi for live.

There was a guy on my train the other day (185) with a double bass which must have been about 7ft high.

In itself not such an odd thing but sure was funny (quietly, anyway) watching him trying to get it from the end of coach A and into FC to take it through (I think) to SC at the other side...especially as he was carrying other bags too
