A new four-slice better quality toaster ordered by my good lady wife has just been delivered. It appears to carry the name of "Dualit Architect Toaster".

My somewhat quirky mindset now sees a difficulty for anyone from the RIBA to dare to venture upon our property again when viewing matters of refurbishment....:D

I'm thinking of importing cheap smoke alarms from somewhere and selling them as Toast Alarms, as ours seem to go off at the slightest hint of warm bread.
But the Architect Toaster could be the start of a new range of appliances.
The Cold Caller Microwave and the "John From Microsoft You've Got A Virus" Grill are currently in their final test stages.

I recall back at school in 1983, our Physics teacher showed us an impressive catalogue of items for the laboratory, which was being re-equipped at the time.

He covered up half the page and we read an extensive descriptionin the text of a steam generator. The description gave all sorts of technical data - weight, height, volume, rate of steam production, energy consumption etc etc.

When we finished reading that, he uncovered the other half of the page to reveal a picture of an ordinary domestic electric kettle.
