Indeed not, and only even there because the relevant TOCs are too bone-idle to correct the routeings on the actual fares. Just like negative easements in the Routeing Guide, most of which should really be put on the fares as route "NOT X".

That is correct, but it isn't what the data says. My point is that those inputting the data should do so correctly, rather than expecting downstream systems to fix it for them via another hack. All this does is make everything both more expensive and more error-prone.
