I was on a stansted express 379 from london to stansted, and there were these strange twanging nouse coming from the roof.

It sounded like the pantograph falling down onto the roof, then raising again. It happened about 10 times.

Does anyone know what it was?

Cheers,
Matt

It'll be the circuit breaker through the neutral sections. The 317s aren't as loud doing it.

This gets reported about 10 times a day over on FCC with the 377's, all it is is the vcb opening and shutting, mind you they go with a bang, much louder than a 319.
