I was unfortunate to suffer a long delay due to a replacement bus failing to call at my departure station Bournemouth (when the staff at Bournemouth found out what happened when didn't see the 07:25 bus, it was too late to recall it back before the next 07:55 departure) and 1 the whole bus load of passengers were loaded onto the service 30 minutes later into Eastleigh.
That 30 minutes delay turned up to be more than an hour as I was originally scheduled to catch the 08:33 train direct to Farnborough, which was not on a normal calling pattern.
The normal calling pattern at Farnborough is only 1 train per hour today on the Basingstoke - London outer suburban service. What is the reason that the 08:33 train from Eastleigh to Waterloo would additionally call at Fleet and Farnborough but not the other trains?
