I have found this shoit in the Chris Hodge Trucks collection of what I think is a Gloucester Class 122 railcar at Stourbridge Town. There seems to be a seperate track on the right that leads to an industrial estate or similar...is this correct?

Yes, there used to be a short goods branch through what is now the bus station. Then main change of course is that the railway station is now on the right hand side on the trackbed of the former branch.
