Hey all, was wondering if some people may be able to help. At some point I'm looking at trying to spot a few more 67s and am looking for some info on where the stored ones are located. These are
67003
67009
67011
67018
67019
67026
67030
If anyone could provide locations of these and whether they are at all viewable, that would be incredibly appreciated. Thanks to any contributors.

67003/019/030 are reported as being at Toton.
67009/011/018/026 reported at Crewe Electric.

67003, 67019, 67030 - Toton TMD
67009, 67011, 67018, 67026- Crewe IEMD

67019 is clearly visible from the bank at Toton, while only the roof of 67030 can be seen from the bank and the A52 road bridge. 67003 appears to be outside the back of the depot near where the DB Company Train is kept (visibility dependent on whether other locos are parked on the lines in front)

67009 & 67018 are usually kept at the Chester end of Crewe IEMD and are therefore not often visible at all. 67026 is buried deep in a storage line and again often not visible due to 325s being stabled in the way. 67011 has recently been the Crewe end shunter so sometimes visible from the industrial park on the Crewe side of the depot, but very dependent on the day as it could be stabled in the shed and not visible.

Hope this helps (and of course if anyone knows any more recent updates on these locos, please correct my information)

Thank you for the info thats appreciated. I still need 67026 but understand its buried away. Assuming it is visible if theres no units in the way where is the best place to view it from. Also Is a passing train any good. If poss could you post a satellite view of crewe iemd showing the exact location of this loco. Thanks in advance for any info

Assume little chance of these being resurrected for mainline use given lack of work for them? 67011 is my last one for haulage but that ship might have sailed?

There's a YouTube video recently showing Crewe IEMD which shows 67026 in the storage line

It’s been quoted elsewhere as being there for first-in-class ETCS fitment.

I was tempted to ask if anyone had the FiC unit number to hand. Thanks for confirming.

Every Saturday I have been to Crewe Electric over the last couple of years there have been 325s obscuring a view of 67026. I took a chance on a weekday visit once earlier this year and got lucky with nothing obscuring a view. The only place you would see it is from the small tarmac area where a couple of cars park immediately adjacent to the big electric gates at the main Depot entrance. So weekday is the best chance but probably still a gamble.

Thank you for the info, that's useful!

Good luck to DB with that one then - 002 never really recovered from it’s not so Special Delivery to the Lawrence Hill bridge and still has somewhat bent framework. It was probably the most hated of 67s used by ATW as the engine room door will often fly open and refuse to stay shut. Believe the cab doors weren’t great on it either!

67s always seemed massively underutilised, is there any information on mileage accumulated by each member of the class?

Perhaps the hope is that, by targeting 002 first, they will have an idea of what a worst case vehicle looks like.

I was under the impression that First Group is tendering for bi-mode locomotives to replace GWR 57/6s and TPE’s subleased 68s.

They are / were. I don't see why we need to go over the whole 67 for the Night Rivera debate again when it's not happening.
